"Ella Enchanted" was one of the BEST, and I mean BEST books I've ever read. Some people might say otherwise, but to me, it's honestly my all-time favorite book. Gail Carson Levine doesn't just make it romantic, she makes it funny. She doesn't just make it romantic and funny, she makes it thrilling at times. She doesn't just make it romantic and funny and thrilling but she makes it easy to read (sometimes when I read fairy tale type books they only use SUPER-HUGE words). And what's more, Gail Carson Levine makes it interesting. I'm a part-time-writer-part-time-reader, and making something romantic and funny and easy to read and interesting is VERY difficult. Most of the time, "romantic" books just have line after line of mushy-gushy stuff. Most of the time, "funny" books just have (supposedly) punch-line after punch-line of stupid jokes. Most of the time, easy to read books are text books. Most of the time, interesting books don't consist of all of the main genres, but "Ella Enchanted" does. I highly highly HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this book. It's the best one that you'll read. (maybe)
